I was born in Catania, Sicily in September 1987 and my bathroom was a dark room.
I approached photography among the others forms of art when I was a kid, at that time I wanted to become a photo reporter, but also a rockstar, a museum curator and a classical ballet dancer.
I had to move from my town, chasing that knowledge, studing Art, Cultural Heritage Sciences and everything I loved. In 2012 I graduated from the Department of Photography in IED Roma and at the same time I worked as Photo Editor Intern for the United Nations World Food Programme.
In September 2012 I won the Mediteraneum Festival of Photography with the project "Summer Ghosts", I held a Photography workshop for Art students at the University of Science and Technology in Hefei, China. Later that year I got a Master in Fashion Photography and Still Life from Istituto Europeo di Design Roma.
I currently live in Milan, where I work for Grazia.it since 2013, while freelancing with various photography studios, mainly on Still Life and Fashion Photography productions.
